Summer school for teachers in Brno (Czech Republic)

17 – 21 Aug

MUNI together with Lipka organizes summer school of approaches to climate change education intended primarily for high school teachers. The goal of the event is not only to provide you with tips on concrete methods and activities, but also to support and strengthen your motivation for change. You will explore topics such as action competences, creativity, working with ideas and visions, design thinking, sustainable thinking, and personal development. The summer school will take place in Brno from 17th to 21st of August.

July 6 - 10, 2026: Summer school on Climate Change Education

In this summer school, we explore climate change emotions and emotion-sensitive climate change education. The programme consists of keynotes and workshops on climate change emotions and emotion-sensitive climate change education, mentor groups on your own research project, and an excursion on water governance and climate change in the Netherlands.

Researchers, students and practitioners interested in climate change education are invited to the following webinar organized by the University of Vienna. In the first part, the psychological and behavioural foundations of climate change education are introduced. The webinar’s second part is based on the applied psychological disciplines, mostly school and vocational psychology.

She works in the human dimensions of natural resources (wildfire, water quality, climate change), with an emphasis on public perceptions, adaptive collaborative management, citizen engagement, behavior change, and social learning.
