Secondments at UNIVIE

In the first week of February 2025, the Czech team traveled to Vienna to meet with their Austrian colleagues. We were fortunate to enjoy perfect weather alongside a perfectly organized program. Both the work and social components of our visit were flawlessly planned, creating an ideal environment for collaboration.

Throughout our research meetings, we rediscovered the value of in-person interaction with our project partners, finding that face-to-face collaboration is not only easier but also more rewarding.

In addition to our project discussions and joint paper writing sessions, we had the opportunity to visit the UNIVIE bee garden and laboratories, as well as explore the behind-the-scenes operations at the Naturhistorisches Museum.

We are already looking forward to returning the warm hospitality we received from our Austrian hosts!
